Dr. Tom Miller welcomes the Asheville faithful to a night of CWC action in the Civic Center.  Tonight, The Heartland are in action against The Moondogs, Princess Victoria faces off with "The Hammer" Beverly Shade, and in our big main event Ox Baker takes on Jerry Brisco for a shot at Tully Blanchard's Carolinas Heavyweight Championship in the balance.  INXS's "Missionary Man" begins playing as it's time for our opening contest.

Heavyweight #1 Contender's Match

Ox Baker defeats Jerry Brisco by referee stoppage after the Heart Punch in 3:25

Senior Referee Tommy Young immediately calls for medics after stopping the match.  Brisco is convulsing and unresponsive.  Security has to escort Baker to the locker room as Dr. Tom Miller asks the crowd to stay in the arena so that Brisco can be taken to the hospital as quickly as possible as a night of action comes to an unexpected end with Jerry Brisco stretchered out.
