Gordon Solie and Roddy Piper open this week's show and tell us that we'll hear from Commissioner Teddy Long regarding the request of Rogers & Snuka last week... the Sheepherders are not in the building, but we'll see the debut The Family, "The Sicilian" Lou Albano & "Pretty Boy" Bobby Heenan, this week... and this week's main event will see Lou Thesz face off with the debuting King Kong Bundy in the final Contender's Round Robin Qualifier

Roddy Piper brings out the Commissioner of the LWF, Theodore R. Long... Long says "Playa, the World's Tag Team Championship sure is a hot commodity. Now, there's no doubt, Bruiser Brody and The Sandman are the World's Champions. Two double tough, bad, bad men. And, there's no doubt, 'Nature Boy' Rogers and the 'Superfly' have proven they are one helluva team, top notch wrestlers. But, 'round here, you earn your shots. So, next week, the two semifinal teams from the Tag Title Tournament, The Pan-Pacific Connection and The Road Warriors, will face off. The winners of that match will take on Rogers and Snuka on an upcoming edition of Legendary to determine the number one contenders. Anybody that wants to be the best is gonna have to prove it. Now, holla... holla, holla."
