Power Hour #2

 Year 1, Week 2
Landmark Arena, Cornelia GA

* * * * *

Tony Schiavone and John "The Body" Johnson open this week on the Power Hour from ringside as the Landmark Arena faithful cheer.  Schiavone lets us know that we'll see Austin Theory in action this week and that Amber O'Neal will take on Daizee Haze in singles action.  Then, Schiavone tosses to a highlight package from this past week's Tag Team Title Luck of the Draw match in Gainesville.  We see highlights of the action culminating in the Rock & Roll Express defeating Kraken to capture the vacant Georgia Tag Championship.  When we come back, Johnson lets us know that the team that got robbed, Murder-1 and Chip Day, Kraken will be his guests on The Body Shop.  Schiavone reminds us that Larry Zbyszko will take on Suge D in this week's main event for a spot in the Georgia Championship Grand Prix.  Tag team action will get us started and Tony tosses to Freddie Miller for the introductions.

Opening Contest
C&C Wrestle Factory defeat George South & Johnny Rodz when Cedric Alexander pins South after the C&C Connection Combo in 10:22

As soon as the bell rings signaling C&C's victory, Murder-1 and Chip Day hit the ring and attack Coleman and Alexander from behind.  Kraken put the boots to C&C, but before any real damage is done, the Georgia Tag Team Champions Rock & Roll Express hit the ring, belts in hand, and Kraken bails.  We go to commercial while Ricky Morton stands guard and Robert Gibson checks on C&C.

Tony Schiavone welcomes us back from the break and "A-Town Down" starts playing as "All Day" Austin Theory makes his way out to podium before his match.  "Tony Schiavone!  I know you want to take a selfie with the hottest thing in the sport today, but with that suit on, you'd break my phone faster than I'm gonna break Bill White here in just a minute.  But, in two weeks, I take my place in the Georgia Championship Grand Prix.  Yes, I have a match with Luke Hawx first, but really?  Really?  Luke Hawx?  Luke, don't show.  You've got no chance.  I'm the evolution of Georgia wrestling.  I'm "All Day".  And there's no way an old alter boy's got a chance with me.  Don't believe me?  Then pay attention."  Theory heads to the ring as Freddie Miller makes the official introductions.

At the podium, Tony Schiavone welcomes "The Catch Artiste" Suge D and asks him about tonight's main event.  "Mr. Schiavone!  This is not the first time I've fought a legend.  By now, it's kinda old hat.  But, this is a little different.  Not because I've been offered a ticket to Larryland, but because I have the chance to represent something that's incredibly important to me, the evolution of Georgia wrestling.  I heard Theory say he is the evolution, but it's more than any one person.  To capture the Georgia Heavyweight Title and represent all of those that have helped build the legacy of Georgia wrestling... that's a big deal to me.  So, Larry Legend, you've got a fight coming.  I'm gonna take that ticket to Larryland and exchange it out for a trip to the Grand Prix."

Women's Feature
Daizee Haze pins Amber O'Neal with a sunset flip in 2:01

As we come back from commercial, John Johnson is in the middle of the ring, "Welcome to The Body Shop!  My guests this week aren't shy about voicing their justified opinion about the Luck of the Draw match that crowned the first Georgia Tag Team Champions.  In my journalistic opinion, they were robbed and should be the champs as we speak.  Ladies and gentlemen, "The Urban Legend" Murder-1 and "Do or Die" Chip Day... Kraken!"

Kraken makes their way to the ring and "The Body" commends their initiative earlier tonight.  Murder-1 speaks for the team, "That's a message, J.J.  We should be here right now with those Georgia Tag straps, but we ain't.  Well, somebody needs to tell the so-called champs, that means nobody's safe."

Chip Day chimes in, "That message has been delivered, loud and clear.  Until we get what should be ours, the Georgia Tag Team Championship, no team that sets foot in a GWE ring is safe from Kraken!"  We go to break as John Johnson tosses to commercial.

Loverboy's "Hot Girls in Love" plays as the voice of Freddie Miller tells about the next great live event.  "Georgia Wrestling Evolution comes to Royston!  See all the great action as Anthony Henry and J.D. Drake, The WorkHorsemen, take on Caprice "Ice" Coleman and Cedric Alexander, the C&C Wrestle Factory, in tag team action.  Krissy Vaine and Amber O'Neal face Daizee Haze and Marti Belle as the ladies collide.  And in the main event, it's a Georgia Grand Prix qualifier preview as "International Superstar" Jimmy Rave teams with "All Day" Austin Theory to go up against "The New Orleans Bad Boy" Luke Hawx and "Reborn" Matt Sydal!  All this and more comes your way at the Cherry Street Gym in Royston.  Doors open at 7pm, 8 o'clock bell time.  Tickets are available at the box office and all TicketMaster locations for an exciting night of action at the Cherry Street Gym in Royston!  Don't miss the action from GWE!"
