Dr. Tom Miller welcomes the Columbia crowd to a night of incredible action in the Township Auditorium.  He mentions two big features on the evening, Ox Baker will face a mystery opponent of matchmaker Ole Anderson's choosing.  And our main event, a big 10-man battle royal to determine the challenger to Tully Blanchard's Carolinas Heavyweight Title next week at the Dorton Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.  "Crockett's Theme" from Miami Vice begins playing and the action is about to begin.

Opening Contest

The Moondogs defeat The Fabulous Freebirds when Rex pins Brad Armstrong after the Moondog Splash in 2:36

After the Moondog Splash, a ringside photographer in a hoodie grabs Terry Gordy by the leg, preventing the save.  As soon as the fall occurs, Gordy grabs the photographer, but the Moondogs attack with the photographer's camera.  The Moondogs are called out of the ring by the photographer, face still hidden by the hoodie, and they obey!  The photographer leads the Moondogs away after their win as the Freebirds recover.

Women's Tag Team Contest

Beverly Shade & Leilani Kai defeat Malia Hosaka & Princess Victoria when Shade pins Victoria after The Hammer in 7:00

Junior Heavyweight Exhibition

Nigel McGuinness defeats Chris Candido (with Tammy Lynn Sytch) by disqualification in 6:03

McGuinness hits the Jawbreaker Lariat and goes for the cover, but Tammy Lynn Sytch grabs Candido's foot and puts it on the ropes.  Referee Sandy Scott sees it and isn't having it!  He calls for the bell.  As Sytch protests, she "drops" her purse where Candido can reach it.  Candido gets the purse and goes to blast McGuinness, but McGuinness sees him, ducks, and lines up for another lariat, but Candido bails.

Ox Baker makes his way to the ring to the sounds of "Black Eyed Bruiser" and a chorus of boos.  Baker soaks it all in and enters the ring to await his mystery opponent.  Suddenly, after several moments of silence, Frank Stallone's "Far From Over" heralds the arrival of matchmaker Ole Anderson and the Ox licks his lips...

Anderson comes out in his dress clothes and a mic in hand, "Relax, Ox.  It isn't me.  My contract as matchmaker prohibits me from being an active competitor.  But, it doesn't prohibit me from making you miserable.  I told you I was calling in some favors.  Well, this was a big one.  I had to eat some crow.  I had to admit some mistakes.  But, in the end, he's a fair man and always has been.  And now, all I can do... is ask for his hand."

Ole Anderson extends his hand for a handshake and the sounds of Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Iron Man" start playing and out walks... Thunderbolt Patterson!  The T-Bolt takes Ole Anderson's hand and pulls him into a hug.  The fans erupt as they converse briefly and Baker starts protesting to referee Sonny Fargo.  Anderson gestures to the ring and Patterson makes his way down as Anderson returns to the locker room.

Heavyweight Attraction

Thunderbolt Patterson defeats Ox Baker by disqualification in 9:33

Both men begin brawling on the floor when referee Sonny Fargo orders the two back in the ring, getting in both men's faces during a brief break in the action.  Patterson complies, but Baker hauls off and punches Fargo in the mouth.  The bell rings immediately and Patterson comes out quickly to stand between Fargo and Baker.  Security and officials flood the area too keep the peace and matchmaker Ole Anderson kneels to check on Fargo.  Baker leaves screaming "I'll have what's mine, Anderson!"
