Carolinas Wrestling TV #4

Year 1, Week 4
WYFF Television Studio, Greenville SC

* * * * *

"Hi, wrestling fans and welcome to Carolinas Wrestling!  Bob Caudle here with David Crockett and we've got an exciting week of action in store.  The Moondogs are in tag team action this week.  We've got Princess Victoria taking on Malia Hosaka.  We'll hear from the Carolinas Heavyweight Champion Tully Blanchard this week ahead of his defense this week at Dorton Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.  And in our main event this week we'll see his challenger Blackjack Mulligan face off with "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher.  But, right now, fans, let's take a look at some action from the Township Auditorium in Columbia this past week and a big debut in Championship Wrestling Carolinas!"

A video package plays of Thunderbolt Patterson's debut and the match against Ox Baker, ending in a disqualification.

Opening Contest
Thunderbolt Patterson pins Mister X after a double thrust in 11:51

Thunderbolt Patterson steps up to the podium where Bob Caudle welcomes him to CWC.  "Mr. Caudle, it's good to be here, but I wish... I wish it was under better circumstances.  See, Mr. Caudle, I got a history... with Ole Anderson.  And Ole knows... how I feel about those that try to keep food off the table.  Ole... he used to be one of 'em.  He used to be on cross sides... with me.  But then... then... Ole called up the Thunderbolt.  And he says to me... T-Bolt... we ain't seen... eye-to-eye... for a long time.  But I know you... and I know you are a stand-up man... a man of your word.  And then Bob Caudle... he says... T-Bolt... I did you wrong... but I need your help.  He owned it, Bob Caudle.  So told Ole... I said, Ole... if you can own your past, then I am with you!  If Ole Anderson... can own his past, then Ox Baker... I will own... your... mmm... I wish I could say it, Bob Caudle, but you know what I mean.  And soon... Ox Baker... you will too."  Bob Caudle thanks Thunderbolt as the fans cheer and we go to break.

As we return from the break, Caudle and Crockett are standing by with a pair of velvet bags sitting on the podium.  Bob Caudle mentions that next week matchmaker Ole Anderson will have a major announcement concerning the contents of those velvet bags.  David Crockett confirms and opens the bags to unveil the Carolinas Tag Team Championship belts!  Crockett tells us that Ole Anderson will announce how we'll crown champions next week.  As Crockett finishes, we here barking in the background as the Moondogs enter... at the instruction of the hooded photographer seen in Columbia this past week.

Together, they approach the podium as Bob Caudle recounts the events of The Moondogs match with The Freebirds in Columbia and a brief video plays of the end of that match.  Caudle asks the photographer what his involvement is when the mystery man pulls the hood back and Bob Caudle exclaims, "Sir Oliver Humperdink?!"

"That's right, Bob Caudle.  Sir Oliver Humperdink.  And now that the House of Humperdink is in Championship Wrestling Carolinas, The Moondogs' reign of terror as Carolinas Tag Team Champions is imminent.  The Freebirds, Terry Gordy and Brad Armstrong, are the first to see what this complete unit is capable of and others will follow.  So, Freebirds, Heartland, Heavenly Bodies, and anybody else, you've been warned.  These belts right here belong to The Moondogs.  Anyone who thinks different, please ask these two poor, unfortunate souls in the ring what they think after they encounter my Moondogs."  The Moondogs and Humperdink head to the ring as we start the next match.

When we come to the podium post-match, J.J. Dillon and the Carolinas Heavyweight Champion Tully Blanchard have joined Bob Caudle at the podium.  Dillon speaks first, "There you see two premier athletes in their division, Victoria and Hosaka, but one was just that much better than the other tonight.  On any given day, that could change.  But, what you see here is THE premier heavyweight in our sport, and Blackjack Mulligan, there is no day where that fact will change."

Tully Blanchard, dressed to the nines, is all smiles as Dillon speaks, but the smile disappears as he takes off his sunglasses and begins to speak.  "Blackjack Mulligan, you must think that just because you are big and bad that I'm worried about walking out of Raleigh with this Carolinas belt.  You'd be wrong.  I had to slay a beast to win this title and I'll do whatever I have to do to keep it.  You are looking at the best in the sport, the King of the Carolinas, and all that entails, Mulligan, and it'll take bigger and badder than you to take this away from me."

Bob Caudle tosses to commercial as Blanchard and Dillion leave.

As the Mid-Atlantic Theme plays, the voice of Dr. Tom Miller comes across to hype this week's live event, "The stars of Championship Wrestling Carolinas are coming to Dorton Arena, Raleigh, North Carolina!  The Moondogs take on The Fabulous Freebirds.  In a rematch from last week's match in Columbia, South Carolina, Ox Baker faces Thunderbolt Patterson.  And in the main event, for the Carolinas Heavyweight Championship, Tully Blanchard defends against Blackjack Mulligan.  All this and more this week in Raleigh at Dorton Arena!  Doors open at 6pm, 7pm bell time.  Tickets are available at the box office and all TicketMaster locations.  Championship Wrestling Carolinas comes to Raleigh!  Don't miss a second of the action!  Be there!"

MAIN EVENT

Blackjack Mulligan comes to the podium in the scant moments before we go off the air.  Bob Caudle asks Mulligan about his upcoming championship match.  "Bob Caudle, I hope Tully Blanchard is still here.  Blanchard, I hope you were watching.  Brian Christopher, as good as he is, is no Tully Blanchard, but that was a sample.  You say you've slayed a beast, Blanchard, but a beast ain't a badass from Texas and you know it.  Tully, I'm telling you, Dillon, and the fine people of the Carolinas, you're looking at the next Carolinas Heavyweight Champion!"
